| Image Title | Refuge of Life 1 |
| Artist | Al Hogue - new |
| Inspiration | During Al's 20 years in Hawaii, he has spent countless hours diving on many of Hawaii's most remote and pristine reefs. These isolated reefs offer a tranquil refuge to some of the most varied marine life found anywhere on Earth. These two paintings reveal the panorama of life hidden below the ocean waves. These images record a lifetime of Al's memories diving amongst the sea creatures in Hawaii's underwater garden of life.
Al created these paintings from a composite of his memories diving in Hawaii. The simple huts on the land above pose no threat to the sea creatures below. Man and the sea live in harmony. The lives of the people dwelling in this refuge of life are enriched by the wonders of God's creatures living and dancing below. |
